Miss Vietnam California is dedicated to empowering young Vietnamese-American women by celebrating a tradition of culture, beauty, and intelligence to better serve the Vietnamese-American community.

The Spice of My Life. Late at night, beneath a blanket of stars, I found myself lost in reflection. A gentle question whispered through my mind: Have I truly embraced the life I longed for? For many years, I chased a path that, while fulfilling, strayed from the dreams of my youth – to be an actress and an archaeologist, a captivating blend of passions. Instead, destiny led me to the stage of Hoa Hậu Áo Dài – Miss Vietnam California, a role I cherish with all my heart. While the world often urges us to "dream big," I've found solace in "dreaming small and achievable." This approach has brought me a sense of quiet joy and empowered me to pursue goals that truly nourish my soul. My dearest wish for the younger Vietnamese-American generation is to never forget the roots that anchor them. Embrace the vibrant tapestry of Vietnamese culture and language. Honor your heritage, for it is a precious thread woven into the very fabric of who you are. No matter the unexpected turns life may take, always remember to "LIVE PINK." Let your spirit shine bright, like the brightest star in the sky.*
Khi tỉnh giấc nhìn lại, đã hơn 35 năm tôi gắn bó cùng Hoa Hậu Áo Dài và cộng đồng...Những vui buồn không nhớ hết, cũng chẳng thể quên. Hoa Hậu Áo Dài như một trách nhiệm vô hình của mình. Dù có rất nhiều lúc chán nản, tôi đã muốn bò cuộc. Nhưng nhìn các em Hoa Hậu, Á Hậu tôi đào tạo trên 30 năm, biết bao nhiêu thương yêu và kỷ niệm, các em không cho phép tôi bỏ cuộc, mà phải tiếp tục con đường hoa mộng nhưng đầy gai này. Tôi mong các em cùng tôi, dùng đôi tay bé nhỏ góp sức xây dựng vuờn hoa cộng đồng. Hãy cho đi. Hãy bắt đầu, dù rất ít. Cuộc sống đã biến chúng ta thành những người máy (robot) vô tình. Mong chúng ta mãi giữ đuợc trái tim nồng nàn thương yêu. Hãy mơ những giấc mơ nhỏ và thực hiện chúng. Năm nay, tôi đã cùng BTC chọn chủ để “Live Pink”, để nhắc nhở các em và chính mình: Hãy cố gắng vượt qua khó khăn, sóng gió cuộc đời dù bất cứ việc gì xảy ra. Hãy nhìn đời qua lăng kính màu hồng và hy vọng. Chúng ta có thể mất đi tất cả, khi thức dậy. Hãy cho đi. Vì cho đi là nhận lại được rất nhiều.
